On arrival to Merzouga, you will need a 4×4 car to get to the Ame Camp.From Merzouga, continue south on the main road then turn left towards the water tank opposite the village of Khamlya.Follow the seasonal river with some Tamaris trees until opposite the black mountain of Mifis. On the left near a small farm planted with young palm trees, you will then see the dark nomad tents on the edge of the dunes.
The best way to get to Ame Camp is by camel.
From the small village of Tanamouste, south of Merzouga, you will ride the ship of the desert across the undulating sand dunes towards Ame Camp. A great experience in this fascinating scenery.
